COE iPad Users Group will meet this Thursday at noon in the Dean’s Conference Room. Our
topic is Evernote. Before the meeting, you might want to create an
account on http://evernote.com/evernote/ if you haven’t already. The next steps would be to
install the Evernote software on your computer and install the app on your
iPad. The meeting itself will be a work session where we will explore Evernote
features and help each other.
Here is a brief video if you
aren’t sure what Evernote is: http://youtu.be/Pjn6YkCY2yA
We had a productive meeting Thursday helping each other use Evernote. We learned how to create and delete notebooks, how to create notes in different ways (on the iPad, iPhone, computer application, and website), and we experimented with adding images and audio clips. We created a bookmark in Safari on our iPads for the Evernote Clipper to make it easier to make a note of websites in Evernote (see http://mergy.org/2012/05/use-the-evernote-clipper-with-safari-on-ipad-and-iphone/). We played around with Evernote Skitch (http://evernote.com/skitch/ ) which allows you to annotate images and sketch your own.
